Telangana CM KCR started off the fight on coronavirus in the right earnest by following strict lockdown measures and ramping up tests going one step ahead of PM Modi and winning the appreciation of all across the country.
But with the passage of time and after two months of lockdown, shocking reports are coming that the Telangana government is conducting fewer tests compared to all the states in the country.
Even then the spread of coronavirus and increase in COVID positive cases is sending shockwaves across the state and especially in Hyderabad. High Court intervened and reprimanded the KCR led Telangana government over less number of tests but KCR remained unmoved.
In the meantime BJP leader, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kishan Reddy made sensational allegations against KCR. He said KCR stopped conducting tests on people of Telangana as his close friend, MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi expressed his views against the tests. He demanded the Union Government to intervene and increase tests in the Telangana state. It has to be seen how KCR reacts to Kishan Reddy’s sensational allegations over him and Owaisi.
