During the promotions of Adipurush, Prabhas made a clear promise to his fans — he would work on films back-to-back without long breaks, completing shoots quickly. However, he also warned that the release dates were beyond his control and requested not to blame him if a film’s release got delayed.
That’s exactly what’s happening now. The superstar is racing through his schedules, wrapping up shoots at lightning speed. Yet, there’s no concrete clarity on when his movies will actually hit the theaters.
Take Raja Saab, for example. Prabhas has almost completed shooting for the film. But a final release date is still uncertain due to delays in graphic work. Even producer Vishwaprasad, in a recent conversation with GreatAndhra, could not give a clear timeline for Raja Saab’s release.
Then there’s Fauji. Prabhas has been quietly working on this project, with around 50% of the shoot already completed. He is expected to wrap up his portions by the second week of September. While there’s talk of an April release next year, the makers have yet to make any official announcement.
And when it comes to Spirit, the less said, the better. The film hasn’t even gone on floors yet, but Prabhas has committed bulk dates to ensure a continuous shoot once it starts. Still, doubts remain about whether it can meet its planned release schedule, given the delays already faced.
In short, Prabhas is keeping his promise by allocating dates and completing his shoots as planned. But due to post-production delays and other factors, his films are not reaching audiences on time. As the actor himself said earlier, fans shouldn’t blame him for these postponements.
