The Narcotics Control Bureau filed affidavits in the High Court on Monday, rejecting the bail plea of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik.

The investigating agency also stated that they are suspecting Rhea’s drugs harboring is connected with bollywood biggies.

The NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede stated that they have required evidence against consumption of drugs by Rhea, ““Electronic evidence such as WhatsApp chats, records were retrieved from mobile, laptop and hard-disk and it indicated payment made for the drugs.

Thus, there is ample evidence to show present applicant (Rhea Chakraborty) has not only regularly dealt with but also financed illicit trafficking of drugs.”

The NCB is stating that Rhea is the active member in drug syndicate where many high society personalities are interconnected.

The High Court is scheduled to hear the bail pleas of Rhea and Showik today.
