ZEE5, India’s leading home-grown video streaming platform, continues to entertain audiences with its intriguing originals and superhit movies across languages. After the success of Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting, ZEE5 Telugu is all set to bring a rooted tale this time with its upcoming original series, “Mothevari Love Story”. The series is slated to premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on August 8. Written and directed by Shiva Krishna Burra, this show features Anil Geela and Varshini in the lead roles.
Ahead of its release, the makers unveiled the trailer today, giving viewers a peek into a heartland romance laced with humour and emotion. The story follows Parshi (Anil Geela) from Arepalli village, who falls for a girl from a neighbouring village. However, their blossoming romance takes a chaotic turn with the arrival of two elderly men, who stir conflict over a piece of land. What ensues is a rollercoaster of unpredictable events, laugh-out-loud moments, and heartfelt emotions, all centred around whether Parshi succeeds in his love.
The trailer has struck a chord with viewers, offering glimpses of comedy, drama, and emotional depth. It promises a charming tale where rustic traditions meet modern-day romance in an entertaining rural backdrop.
Mothevari Love Story features Muralidhar, Sadanna, Sujatha, and others in key roles. The series is produced by Madhura Sreedhar and Sriram Srikanth (of My Village Show fame). The technical team includes Sreekanth Arupula as cinematographer, Anil Geela as editor, and Charan Arjun as music composer. Sriram Prashanth and Anil Geela have served as Executive Producers.
