It is well known that defeating the ruling TRS party in the Dubbaka by-election in Telangana and winning that seat has filled the BJP with a lot of confidence. There is a propaganda that the party’s tactics will change with this victory.
At a time like this, the party leaders are revealing key issues. Recently, BJP Telangana state president Bandi Sanjay made sarcastic comments on GHMC elections. Speaking at a press conference, Sanjay said that the by-elections were a diwali gift given to CM KCR by the people of dubbaka and that GHMC would give another gift to him for Sankranthi by winning the BJP in the elections. He said as per a pre-poll survey in the GHMC area BJP would get more than 75 seats in the elections.
Sanjay demanded that the government be transparent on whether there are taxes being collected in the old city. He also said that Unemployment benefit should be announced immediately in the state of Telangana. He said the government should take action on illegal occupancies of the ponds in Hyderabad.
Bandi Sanjay also made interesting comments at another meeting. He expressed that the stars have turned for Telangana from the result of Dubbaka by-election. The verdict given in Dubbaka is to be given in the Greater elections, He said. He also said that BJP was going to win more than 100 seats in the GHMC elections. He went on to say that the people of Dubbaka have taken a great decision and that CM KCR has made many sacrifices to retain the position which went in vain.
