It is well-known that the elections for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation happened on December 1, 2020. The entire GHMC has 150 divisions for which parties like TRS, BJP, MIM, Congress and TDP have filed their candidates.
Meanwhile, the counting for the big battel has begun today from 8 AM. As of now, the postal ballot counting is underway and initial reports suggest that BJP has a slight majority in a few divisions and is giving a tough fight to the ruling TRS. On the other hand, MIM is expected to take a lead in the old city and Congress, TDP may fail miserably.
Reportedly, the ballot counting will continue till afternoon and clarity on the final results are expected to be out by evening.
