Everyone in the state is now discussing about Dubbaka elections results. People are the main reason behind the TRS party, which won with a majority of 60,000 votes in 2018 and losing today with over 1400 votes. BJP did not win in Dubbaka with its own cadre, its people there who opposed TRS and voted for Raghunandan to give him a chance.
Exactly a similar incident took place in 2019 in Andhra Pradesh. Jagan did not win that election, its people who were against the then ruling party and voted for Jagan and gave him a chance. Similarly, Dubbaka was not transplanted but the people who won and gave Raghunandan a chance.
During the 2014 elections, Jagan contested and lost by a narrow margin, everyone knows how much trouble the TDP government has caused for the YCP leaders since then as they want to weaken the YCP by not taking 23 MLAs into their party at once. But Jagan continued to fight bravely to keep the party afloat. Even in Dubbaka, Raghunandan had already competed and lost twice but continued his fight without leaving Dubbaka.
BJP has made its voice heard loudly through social media. It may be Bandi Sanjay’s arrest or Raghunandan’s house being searched by the police all of these were widely publicized on social media. In other words, there are close similarities between Jagan’s victory then and Raghunandan’s victory in Dubbaka now. However, the majority share should be given to the people. So it is true that in a democracy the people are always the judges.
