Nayanthara’s new movie, “Annapoorni,” released on Netflix, has sparked controversy due to a scene mentioning Lord Ram. Some people are upset about this and one person, Ramesh Solanki, filed a complaint with the police.
He used social media to say the film is disrespectful to Hindu beliefs and mentioned scenes that bothered him, like one suggesting Lord Ram ate meat. Solanki wants action taken against the film and the studios that made it, claiming it hurts Hindu sentiments, especially as it came out around the time of an important event for Hinduism. He asked the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Home Minister to do something about it.
