Title: Abhinetri
Cast: Prabhu Deva, Tamanna, Nandita Swetha, Kovai Sarala
Direction: Vijay
Introduction: Director Vijay came up with yet another horror comedy ‘Abhinetri 2’ which is the sequel of hit film Abhinetri. Let’s see how it is.
Story: Devi is the doting wife and Krishna is possessed by two spirits. Krishna, leaving his daughter in the custody of her grandmother takes Devi to Mauritius. There, leaving Devi, Krishna goes after Sarah and Eesha. With the help of her friend (Kovai Sarala) Devi comes to know that he is possessed by two spirits. How Devi saves her husband forms the rest of the story.
Analysis: Content is always the king of the Cinema. Unfortunately, the director has forgotten this fundamental formula of cinema. This movie has everything, stars like Prabhu Deva, Tamannah, rich locations and with lack of content they could not weave magic on screen. The hero possessed by two spirits is the only novel concept in the movie and the rest of the story tests the audience patience. In-appropriate scenes, lack of emotion, mediocre writing makes the movie fall flat. Sonu Sood and RJ Balaji too were wasted in the movie. Songs were not good at all and the same goes with other technical aspects.
Finally: Half-baked story fails
