Coronavirus and the lockdown which followed left everyone with a million-dollar question. Whether to continue with the lockdown or lift the lockdown and start the daily routine.
In the midst of all this, two Telugu States Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are treading a different line. AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to take a daring decision.
It decided to announce many lockdown relaxations. Is gave relaxation to farmers and the agricultural sector. The government put the onus of following social distancing to the shops and other outlets. Apart from it, Jagan’s sarkar is planning to open restaurants and malls. Jagan decided to make people of Andhra Pradesh live with corona and start all activities in a full-fledged manner.
This is in stark contrast to Telangana CM KCR. He decided to continue with the lockdown and now he has taken another tough decision. Telangana government decided to stop issuing passes to people coming from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana stopped people from Maharashtra and Gujarat from entering the state due to a high number of cases there. Though cases are less in Andhra Pradesh, due to borders with Kurnool where corona positive cases are more, the KCR’s government has decided to stop AP people from entering Telangana.
