Young and promising actor Shiva Kandukuri stars in “Chai Wala,” produced on a grand scale by Radha Vijayalakshmi and Venkat R. Papudippu under the Harshika Productions banner. The film is written and directed by Pramod Harsha. The recently released first-look poster attracted everyone’s attention, and on Wednesday (August 20), the movie’s teaser was launched.
The teaser begins impressively with Rajeev Kanakala’s line: “My chai is worth ₹15. If I charge even one rupee more, my value decreases.” Another notable dialogue from Shiva Kandukuri follows: “If passing meant writing Kalki’s story on every page, we would have done it a long time ago.” Scenes between father and son, the romantic storyline, and the various emotional tracks suggest that “Chai Wala” brings together all elements meaningful to both youth and families. Producer Raj Kandukuri said: “Producer Venkat chose the title ‘Chai Wala,’ which is relatable to everyone. They trusted the story and went ahead with the project. Films that remain with you even after leaving the theater become successful. After watching ‘Chai Wala,’ people will be moved by its emotion. Rajeev Kanakala is a brilliant actor. Two years ago, when the story was first narrated, director Pramod envisioned Rajeev Kanakala in the father’s role. Imran’s writing is outstanding. Teju Ashwini has a bright future in Telugu cinema.
