KCR shocks Sonia: Demands Bharat Ratna for PV

 

Telangana CM KCR started off the centenary celebrations of the son of the soil, first Telugu Prime Minister PV.Narasimha Rao starting on Sunday. He promised to celebrate Narasimha Rao’s centenary celebrations in a grand manner and already arrangements are in full swing at his Samadhi, Gyan Bhoomi, at Necklace Road, in Hyderabad.

KCR’s government allocated Rs 10crs cor the celebrations and the committee headed by Rajya Sabha member K.Keshava Rao, planned various programmers throughout the year. He is planning to set up a memorial for Narasimha Rao on the lines of former President APJ.Abdul Kalam’s memorial in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu.

What not, he also announced that five bronze statues of PV. Narasimha Rao would be installed at Warangal, Karimnagar, Vangara (Birthplace of Narasimha Rao), and Telangana Bhawan in Delhi. A portrait of PV. Narasimha Rao would also be kept in the Telangana assembly.

He shocked the Congress and Sonia Gandhi which insulted Narasimha Rao by not allowing his dead body to be kept in Delhi. He KCR said he would pass a resolution in the state assembly recommending to the center to award Bharat Ratna to PV.Narasimha Rao. He said he would personally meet PM Modi and demand the same.
