Congress leader Rahul Gandhi most of the time has been hogging the media limelight for all wrong reasons. Now he got a huge shock when BJP leader Sambit Patra during a discussion on TV channel pulled out an old case against Rahul Gandhi and the #Sukanyarapistrahulgandhi went trending online.
It all started when Congress spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh branded Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as Ranga and Billa accusing them of receiving money from the Chinese organizations.
Sambit Patra turned furious and questioned Gaurav Vallabh for branding Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh as rapists Billa and Ranga. He then pointed out that Rahul Gandhi was accused in the rape case of Sukanya Devi in the Supreme Court. He dared Gaurav saying if Congress accuses PM as a rapist, then he would expose Rahul Gandhi’s rape case. He questioned “The rape case against Rahul Gandhi had taken place in the number 12 court. Rahul Gandhi had raped a girl in Uttar Pradesh. A case in this regard was lodged against him. Who is Sukanya? Why was she murdered?”
He went on to question “Who abducted Sukanya’s parents? You think India’s PM and Home Minister are rapists like Ranga Billa? You have sheltered a rapist in your house but you have the audacity to call others rapists? Everybody should today trend ‘Sukanya rapist Rahul Gandhi’.”
According to sources, Rahul Gandhi and his friends who include two British nationals and two Italians had a drinks party in 2006 in Amethi and then raped Sukanya Devi, daughter of a local Congress leader Balram Singh. Both the girl and her parents went missing after they met Sonia Gandhi and complained about the incident.
After the rape, she escaped and approached several people but nobody came forward to help. It is also alleged that a videographer named Dhrupad and a cameraman from a news channel who had recorded the statement of Sukanya, also went missing after that. Inside talk is a media channel also helped Rahul tamper the evidence and get away scot-free and the Supreme Court quashed the case due to lack of evidence.
