Jagan’s cabinet speculation: Who is in-Who is out?

AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to expand his cabinet and include new ministers and at the same time shuffle the portfolios for better governance. Reports are coming that the new ministers will take oath at 1 PM on July 22nd. Jagan already decided to give the vacated ministries to the same community person.

Accordingly, MLA Chelluboina Venugapala Krishna from Setti Balija community will become a cabinet minister. Similarly, MLA Seediri Appalaraju from the fishermen community will get cabinet ministry.

YSRCP also decided on those who should replace Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Mopidevi Venkataramana as MLCs. Both of them are sent to Rajyasabha. YSRCP requested the Governor to nominate two candidates under his quota. The two candidates are West Godavari SC Member Mosen Raju and Raichoti Minority Women member Maina Zakia Khanum. The name of former MP, Dalit leader from East Godavari Pandula Ravindra Babu is also doing rounds.

Reports are also coming that Assembly speaker Tammineni Seetharam is lobbying for a ministry. He belongs to the Kalinga caste and as the community is neglected, he is pressurizing Jagan. He said if he is made the minister it will help in strengthening the party in Srikakulam district.

If Jagan inducts Tammineni, then another leader should become the speaker. The chance may go to deputy speaker Kona Raghupati. Earlier his father Kona Prabhakara Rao served as the speaker. Analysts say making Raghupati as the speaker will be justice done to the Brahmin community.

Reports are coming that during the reshuffle Home Minister Makathoti Sucharita and Deputy CM Narayana Swamy might lose their berths. Some say Jagan may not axe anyone at present and he may take that tough decision only after 2-1/2 years.
