AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to have got a jhalak from PM Modi. It is known that Jagan planned to fly to Delhi and meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekawat.
Even as a special chartered flight was arranged for Jagan’s program. However, at the last minute, Jagan got a shock when the tour was canceled as he did not get Home Minister Amit Shah’s appointment.
CMO officials informed about the cancellation of the tour but they did not reveal the real reason. Jagan planned to discuss AP’s financial situation with the Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat and seek funds for various irrigation projects including Polavaram.
He also planned to discuss the legal issues like removal of State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar and also his government’s resolution abolishing the legislative council.
But at the last minute, the tour was canceled. Sources say Home Minister Amit Shah was busy with Nisarga Cyclone and the Home officials informed AP CMO that they would give an appointment at a late4r date. Nisarga cyclone is the most feared and Maharashtra and Gujarat are bracing to handle the situation along with Kerala and Goa.
