Tapsee, who has been gaining attention for her performance-oriented roles in Tollywood and Bollywood, has recently landed in trouble. A complaint has been filed against her for allegedly insulting Goddess Lakshmi by wearing revealing attire along with the deity’s necklace. Singh Gaur, the convenor of Hind Rakshak Sangathan and son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur of Indore, filed the complaint against Tapsee over a video that she posted on her Instagram on March 14, 2023.
In the video, Tapsee was reportedly seen wearing an indecent dress and a locket of Goddess Lakshmi Maa around her neck during a fashion show. Although Tapsee shared the video to showcase her appreciation for Reliance Jewels’ Akshaya Tritiya collection, some organizations strongly objected to her attire and filed a complaint against her. In response, Gaur alleged that Tapsee’s actions were a planned attempt to degrade Sanatan Dharma.
Despite looking gorgeous in her dress, Tapsee has found herself embroiled in controversy. It remains to be seen how this situation will unfold.
