Pragati Bhavan, a significant government edifice during KCR’s tenure as Telangana CM, saw changes upon Revanth Reddy’s arrival. Security measures were lifted, and the building was renamed telangana Praja Bhavan. However, Revanth Reddy opted not to operate from Praja Bhavan, passing it to Bhatti Vikramarka, the deputy chief minister.
A recent government order solidified this decision, making Praja Bhavan the official residence and workplace for Bhatti Vikramarka for the remainder of his tenure. Revanth Reddy, seeking enhanced security arrangements, refrained from using Praja Bhavan.
Instead, he contemplating establishing his camp office in the near Serilingampally area. This decision arose because his current residence in Jubilee Hills doesn’t adequately meet the security prerequisites expected for a CM’s dwelling. The change from Pragati Bhavan to Praja Bhavan marked a shift in its use.
While initially associated with KCR’s daily operations, the building has now been designated as the combined residence and workplace for Bhatti Vikramarka. Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy is considering an alternative location for his camp office due to security concerns at his current residence, steering clear of using Praja Bhavan.
