Nayanatara, the leading south actress had finally got hitched to her long-time boyfriend Vignesh Shivn yesterday in a Hindu tradition. While everything seems fine, she and her husband invited an unwanted controversy.
Nayanatara and Vignesh were at the hill temple to take part in the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Venkateswara. However, a controversy erupted when Nayanthara was found walking along the Mada Streets by wearing the footwear.
A video clip of Nayanatara walking in the vicinity of the main temple and posing for for the photographers who mobbed the couple, has in no time gone viral on various social media platforms forcing the TTD authorities give an explanation.
The critics, including politicians, got irked by her behaviour claiming that Nayanatara had hurt the sentiments of devotees and demanded that the TTD initiate stringent action against her. Reacting to the same, TTD Vigilance Guard Officer Bali Reddy said that he would take up the issue to the notice of the higher officials and proceed legally.
