A prominent Congressman named Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy was named the state’s Minister of Cinematography following the recent Telangana assembly elections. Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy was one of the twelve ministers sworn in by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy after the Congress party won 64 seats.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy allocated departments to the newly appointed ministers, and Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, elected as MLA from Nalgonda, has been given the responsibilities of the road construction and cinematography departments, starting today. This isn’t Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy’s first time in a ministerial role.

He previously held positions in 2009 during Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure, serving in various departments related to Information Technology, Sports, Youth, Communications, Airports, Ports, and Natural Gas Industries. He resigned during the separate Telangana movement to support the cause against the government. Previously, Talasani Srinivas Yadav held the cinematography minister role in Telangana. Now, with Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy taking over, there’s speculation about the potential revival of the Nandi Awards for Tollywood.

Soon, members of the film industry are expected to meet Komatireddy Venkatreddy to convey their regards and discuss possible developments. Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy’s new ministerial appointment is significant, especially in the context of his prior involvement in government roles and his support for causes beyond politics. His current assignments in road construction and cinematography indicate his diverse portfolio within the state’s administration.
