AP Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy vehemently refuted the critics’ claims, defending the state government’s financial situation. He argued that the allegations of AP being mired in debts are unfounded and baseless. The minister claimed that the present administration had done better than the previous one since Chandrababu Naidu’s regime accumulated more debt.
Minister Buggana claims that the finance department has provided clarification on the facts of the state’s finances and debts, which have been presented in Parliament. He accused the opposition and media of disregarding these facts and engaging in political mudslinging.
Buggana further claimed that the opposition’s intention is to hinder the development and growth of the state and prevent the Centre from supporting AP’s government. He suggested that they are creating false propaganda to block funds from the Centre.
To debunk the opposition’s claims, the minister used a satirical analogy, stating that repeating a debt of 1000 crore five times won’t make it 5000 crore. He criticized Chandrababu Naidu, humorously questioning his self-proclaimed title of “Lion” and comparing himself to animals. Overall, Buggana emphasized that the allegations against the AP government are without merit and driven by political motives.
