Films Vs Politics: Pawan Kalyan’s Dual Role Dilemma

Mass Director Harish Shankar’s long-awaited project, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” has faced numerous setbacks due to Pawan Kalyan’s involvement in political activities. The film initially started production in May, with the team completing a quick schedule and even releasing a glimpse. However, shooting schedules were repeatedly postponed due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments.

Recently, the shooting for “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” resumed just three days ago. Unfortunately, once again, Pawan Kalyan’s political activities have disrupted the film’s production. The Andhra Pradesh Police arrested Pawan Kalyan in preventive custody in the NTR district after a dramatic series of events, where he protested against the police blocking his convoy at the Telangana-Andhra border.

Pawan Kalyan, who was on his way to a Janasena party meeting, was arrested during a pre-dawn operation in Nandyala. Initially, he tried to travel by air, but the police prevented his special flight from departing. He then attempted to go by road, but his convoy was blocked multiple times in the NTR district, leading Pawan Kalyan to walk on the road towards Mangalagiri in Vijayawada.

Director Harish Shankar is in need of at least 70 days of Pawan Kalyan’s call sheets to complete the film. However, with Pawan Kalyan’s ongoing political commitments, it remains uncertain when he will be able to fully dedicate his time to the project, leaving the fate of “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” hanging in the balance.
