As the election season grips the Tollywood industry, two panels led by Dil Raju and C Kalyan have engaged in intense accusations in the final hours before the voting commences.
Today marks the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce elections, where approximately 800 members out of a total of 1600 are expected to cast their votes.
The arguments presented by both panels remain consistent. Dil Raju’s panel asserts that they comprise producers actively involved in filmmaking, equipping them with a comprehensive understanding of the real issues plaguing the industry.
On the other hand, C Kalyan argues that Dil Raju and his affluent panel members remain disconnected from the everyday struggles of common industry workers, inhibiting them from expressing their grievances.
Both sides have been blaming each other for past failures, corruption, and healthcare challenges. However, industry sources speculate that this time around, C Kalyan’s panel holds an advantage over Dil Raju’s.
The polling will continue until 3 PM, and the counting process will commence at 4 PM. The results are scheduled to be announced after 6 PM today.
