After the blockbuster success of Sankranthiki Vastunnam, Sri Venkateswara Creations is back with yet another promising film, Thammudu. The film recently completed its censor formalities, and producer Dil Raju has consciously chosen to go with an ‘A’ certificate.
Interestingly, with a few cuts, the film could have secured a U/A certificate. However, Dil Raju decided against the cuts to ensure audiences get the best theatrical experience possible.
In recent interviews for Thammudu, Dil Raju clearly expressed the audience’s current preference, they are showing up at theatres only for complete entertainers like Sankranthiki Vastunnam or for films that promise a fresh cinematic experience. In line with that vision, Thammudu is crafted to offer a new-age cinematic experience, hence the decision to go with an ‘A’ certificate without compromising the film’s essence.
Directed by Sriram Venu and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish, Thammudu features Laya, Varsha Bollamma, and Saptami Gowda in key roles. The film is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on July 4th.
