Akhil’s much anticipated action-entertainer ‘Agent’ which was released yesterday has received poor reviews, and both the actor and the director are facing severe criticism. Even die-hard Akkineni fans are trolling the film. Akhil had dedicated more than two years to this project. However, amidst all the negativity, Akkineni’s mother, Amala, has come forward to defend the film.
In response to the trolls, Amala stated that criticism often stems from inner insecurities and the need for achievement. She further added that she thoroughly enjoyed watching “Agent” despite its flaws. Amala also mentioned that she watched the film in a packed theater with a diverse audience, including mothers, grandmothers, husbands, and sons, and witnessed screams of excitement during the big action sequences. She ended her statement by expressing her confidence that Akhil’s next project will be even bigger and better.
