Venu Thottempudi was a busy actor in the early 2000s with some of the biggest hits like Swayamvaram, Chirunavvutho, Hanuman Junction, Pellam Oorelthe, and Kalyana Ramudu. Despite good success rate, the actor went into self-imposed exile for nine years before resuming his second innings with Rama Rao On Duty movie.
Venu, who is busy with interviews had made some interesting revelations and controversial comments about the director Boyapati Srinu. He said that when Boyapati narrated the script, he said that his role would be like Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the Sholay movie, but later he realized that he was cheated.
Venu, however, is not regretting the same as he feels that it’s a learning curve and decided not to trust anyone blindly after that. He resumed acting with Ravi Teja’s Rama Rao On Duty and is ready to act if offered good roles. He’s also open for the web series. Let’s see how Venu’s career turns from now onwards.
