Ram – Boyapati’s ‘Skanda’ Gets Trolled Again

Ram’s recent action film, “Skanda,” which was released on September 28th, faced a lukewarm response from the audience. Surprisingly, the film’s director, Boyapati Srinu, labeled it as a super hit despite a decline in collections. One of the major criticisms directed at the movie is its excessive and melodramatic action sequences, coupled with seemingly pointless episodes that permeate the storyline. “Skanda” is now available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar, and social media platforms have been inundated with trolling content. Several of the film’s exaggerated scenes have been condensed into short videos, which are widely shared online.

Boyapati Srinu’s cameo as a body double for Ram in an action stunt has garnered considerable attention and gone viral. This has given rise to a second wave of trolling for the film. Audiences have pointed out some glaring errors and shortcomings, and some have labeled “Skanda” as a “Senseless Mass Film.” The movie features a cast of actors, many of whom lack significant prominence. “Skanda” stars Sree Leela and Saiee Manjrekar as the leading ladies and is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi.
