PM Modi’s Independence Day speech highlights

 

PM Modi unfurled the Indian tricolor at the Red Fort today as India is celebrating its Independence Day. PM Modi addressed the nation from the Red Fort for the seventh consecutive time on the Independence Day.

Modi led the Independence Day celebrations with the tweet ‘ Happy Independence Day to all fellow Indians. Jai Hind!”. Here are the highlights of PM Modi’s speech.

Modi paid tributes to security fighters,security forces and corona warriors. He said 130 crore Indians will win over COVID 19. He expressed gratitude to corona warriors saying they lived in the mantra of Seva Paramo Dharma.

He stressed on the need to become self reliant and said today everyone shpould remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and show gratitude to security personnel (Army, Paramilitary and Police). He said humanity and economic growth his the country’s main focus and said everyone should make Vocal for Local as Jeevan Mantra.

He said Make In India should transform into Make For World and said many big companies int he world are coming to India. He said 7000 projects will bring new revolution in Infrastructure and Farmers will be able to sell across the world.

He said India should be self reliant, self sufficient in agriculture sector and added that all villages will have optical fibre network. He said health sector stressed on the need for Atma Nirbhar Bharat and announced the start of National Digital Health Mission and every Indian will have health ID card.

He revealed that India is developing 3 vaccines and said mass production will start soon.
