Everyone knows that Andhra Pradesh since its bifurcation into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has been facing severe economic crisis. Compared to other states, these economic crisis is huge and this is not due to corona virus.
Economic analysts after the one year rule of Jagan expressed disappointment over the state’s economic condition. They criticised Jagan for not generating revenue for the state attracting investors, developing IT sector and establishing new industries.
Even IYR.Krishna Rao, former chief secretary who went hammer and tongs on the then CM Chandra Babu Naidu, this time blasted Jagan for his government’s policies. Jagan may be winning the appreciation from across the country with his cash transfer programs like Amma Vodi, Rythu Bharosa but taking loans from International private firms for these schemes is hindering the economy.
Krishna Rao like other analysts said that for these schemes, one should generate revenue internally rather than take loans externally. He said if this continues, the state would soon become bankrupt. The question is will Jagan do a rethink after all the flak.
