In contrast to the popular belief in Andhra Pradesh, Lagadapati Rajagopal indirectly revealed that the Telugu Desam Party will once again emerge victorious in AP. The former Congress politician further added that complete details of the exit poll survey will be revealed after the end of the final phase of voting on May 19.
Lagadapati’s prediction has no doubt surprised many. Netizens, on the other hand, blasted the social media pages of TV channels with comments against the authenticity of the survey. What no one understands is the timing of Rajagopal’s press briefing…when he is not permitted to reveal the exit poll survey details, why did he hold a press meet to indirectly reveal TDP’s win?. Is the move aimed at favouring TDP in the repolling?.
For Janasena, Rajagopal said that Pawan Kalyan will definitely enter the Andhra Pradesh Assembly but the party may not win as many seats as Prajarajyam won in 2008. Also, according to his survey, TRS is expected to win the majority of the Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.
Well, the million dollar question will be the credibility of the survey. The former politician, who is regarded widely as ‘Andhra Octopus’ has gone upside down with his prediction during the December 2018 Assembly election in Telangana. Will Lagadapati face a similar survey debacle once again?
However, we cannot rule out Rajagopal’s predictions completely. Sources said that the former leader has taken strict measures to make an accurate analysis and get back the lost glory with the Assembly election forecast in Telangana.
