Ycp leader YS Jagan Reddy, has a group of close supporters who fiercely defend him against opposition parties like TDP, Janasena. This includes vocal leaders like Kodali Nani, Perni Nani, Ambati Rambabu, among others, who openly counter and shout down anyone speaking against Jagan.
Now The entry of YS Sharmila, Jagan’s sister, into AP politics by joining the Congress party might complicate things for YCP. These leaders have been aggressive towards Jagan’s political opponents without much restraint. However, since Sharmila is Jagan’s sister, it could be difficult for them to attack her directly without Jagan’s approval.
The big question arises: Will Jagan allow these outspoken YCP leaders to confront Sharmila openly? So far, YCP has largely ignored Sharmila, considering her as an insignificant figure in Andhra Pradesh politics. However, if Sharmila starts criticizing Jagan, YCP will likely need to respond.
Whether Jagan permits his staunch supporters to counter Sharmila openly or chooses a different approach remains to be seen. It’s a delicate situation for YCP as Sharmila’s entry presents a unique challenge given her familial relationship with Jagan, potentially influencing how the party’s vocal leaders handle the situation.
