TDP has undertaken a grand padayatra to address the drinking water and irrigation problems of Kuppam farmers. To this end, the TDP has launched this grand march to immediately carry out the Handrineva excavation work on a war footing and solve the water problem.
Tensions escalated when police refused to allow a TDP march in the name of Corona. This has led to tensions between the TDP and YCP in the constituency.A tense atmosphere ensued as YSRCP prepared to stage a huge rally.
Alerted, the police intercepted the TDP leaders and placed them under house arrest. TDP leaders are being arrested everywhere.Chandrababu was incensed at the obstruction of the TDP Maha Padayatra. He alleged that the government was committing acts of witch hunting and that it was undemocratic
He was outraged that the YCP government and Jagan was resorting to revenge tactics on the people of his constituency.YCP leaders however supported YS.Jagan and questioned Chandrababu why he failed to complete Handri Niva project, who he was in power for five years. Many feel this all out war may result in Kuppam having a new King in near future.
