What’s cooking: Mahesh’s BIL in a silent mode

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s brother in law Galla Jayadev has been the centre of attraction as the Guntur MP in the loksabha. Galla Jayadev used to catch the attention of all with his questions in the Parliament. Now much to the shock of all Galla Jayadev is not seen anywhere.

This is triggering speculation as to what’s cooking as Galla Jayadev is seen actively participating in the Amaravathi farmers protests. People are wondering whether Galla realised the real politicking. Even though TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu called, he is not coming in support of him. Amaravathi sources say Galla is looking for close ties with the BJP.

During the loksabha elections, TDP got wiped out in Amaravathi and except for Galla who scraped through with minimum majority as the Guntur MP. During Amaravathi movement, Galla even went to jail. Chandra Babu and Lokesh thought that to cash in to the Amaravathi protests and sentiment, local MP support is needed tried to get into touch with Galla. However sources say Galla lost faith in Chandra Babu Naidu and Lokesh’s leadership after he was dragged to court over the lands his Jayadev factory got from the previous TDP government. So sources say Galla stopped responding to Babu and his son’s calls.

Some say, since Galla is a pucca businessman, PM Modi praised him for his questions in the Loksabha and so Galla will soon support BJP. Sources say if Galla’s business should be safe from the witchhunting of Jagan’s YSRCP,then he should jump into BJP sooner than later.
