Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy recently highlighted the presence of YSRCP leaders who are not adequately connected to the people. The YSRCP’s objective is to bridge this gap through the ‘Gadapagadapa’ (Door-to-Door) program initiated by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. CM Jagan believes that this program will significantly reduce the disconnect between leaders and the public.
Originally planned to continue until August 31 this year, CM Jagan has now requested the program to be conducted every three months. He closely examines reports provided by the Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC) team and regularly reviews the program’s progress, in addition to frequent meetings with MLAs.
So far, CM Jagan has conducted four reviews with MLAs. In these reviews, he has mentioned the number of dissatisfied MLAs, ranging from 20 to 25, 18, and now 15. These MLAs express their dissatisfaction with their lack of public interaction and concern over securing party tickets in the upcoming elections. In the past, CM Jagan used to disclose the identities of dissatisfied MLAs, but this time their names have been kept undisclosed.
According to reports from Tadepalli classes, the group of 15 lagging MLAs includes important leaders, such as three former ministers, one of whom is a female ex-minister. Additionally, four MLAs from the Reddy social class and one Scheduled Tribe (ST) MLA are among them. CM Jagan believes that their names have not been disclosed due to their influential positions, adding an intriguing element to the situation.
CM Jagan’s dedication to bringing leaders closer to the people through the Gadapagadapa program demonstrates his commitment to addressing the concerns of the YSRCP and ensuring effective governance. By reviewing the progress and addressing the grievances of dissatisfied MLAs, CM Jagan aims to maintain a strong connection between leaders and the public.
