Bollywood actresses from Sharmila Tagore to Anushka Sharma have married Indian cricketers and now as per the sources, Bollywood budding heroine Athiya Shetty is all set to enter wedlock soon with Team India’s player KL Rahul.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been dating each other for a while. They never failed to display their love for each other. Recently Athiya was seen cheering for Rahul in the T20 World Cup as well.
In an interaction with the media, Athiya’s father and actor Suniel Shetty stated that the marriage would be happening soon. However, he added that though he was thinking of confirming a date for the wedding, the busy schedules of Rahul and Athiya are making it difficult for him to decide on the date for the wedding.
Suniel Shetty added that he would make an official statement about the impending wedding very soon. A few reports claim that Rahul and Athiya’s marriage will take place in January next year. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
