Vallabhaneni Vamsi Political Comeback In Gannavaram Soon

Vijayawada: In a significant political development, former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and his wife Pankaja Sri met YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at his residence on Thursday. This marks Vamsi’s first major political move after being released from jail following a 140-day imprisonment.

11 Cases Filed Against Vamsi: Political Targeting Alleged
Vamsi had been arrested in connection with nearly 11 different cases, leading to intense speculation of political vendetta. The former MLA faced a series of PT warrants that prevented him from securing bail easily. Political analysts believe that Vamsi was deliberately targeted after the TDP-led alliance government came to power.

Controversy with Bhuvaneshwari and Apology
During YSRCP’s rule, Vamsi made controversial remarks about TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, Bhuvaneshwari. Though he later apologized publicly, the Naidu family reportedly refused to accept the apology, which further escalated tensions.

Jagan’s Support During Jail Time
YSRCP leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy publicly criticized the government for targeting Vamsi and extended moral and political support to the Vamsi family. Jagan emphasized that the YSRCP stands firmly behind Vamsi and condemned the attempts to harass him using legal means.

Supreme Court Rejects Bail Cancellation Petitions
The current government attempted to cancel Vamsi’s bail in two key cases. However, the Supreme Court dismissed these petitions, allowing Vamsi to walk free. His release from Vijayawada Central Jail on Wednesday was seen as a major legal victory.

Political Re-entry in Gannavaram Planned
Sources within the YSRCP confirm that Vamsi discussed his future political strategy with Jagan during their meeting. Vamsi is likely to become politically active again in Gannavaram constituency, his traditional stronghold. His followers say he will move forward with plans based on the strategic direction given by Jagan.
