Nani has been consciously trying to develop a mass image of late. Barring Jersey which was an emotional drama, Nani has been picking flicks that have mass elements and oodles of action.
Having started his career with soft and comedy films, Nani seems to be set on proving himself as a mass hero. However, till date, his action films haven’t gone down well with the audiences.
Today, the first look poster of his film Tuck Jagdish is out. It shows Nani taking out a huge knife from behind intensely looking at somebody. So, the plot leaves no chance of doubt that it is yet another attempt from Nani to do an action flick.
The movie is being directed by Shiva Nirvana and has Ritu Varma playing the female lead. Aishwarya Rajesh will be playing an important supporting role. There are also other important character actors such as Nassar, Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Naresh and Rohini to name a few.
The film had completed major portions shot in Rajahmundry and Palani in Tamil Nadu. After the lockdown break, Shiva Nirvana resumed the shooting and he intends to complete the shoot in Hyderabad by December.
The film is supposed to be an emotional family drama, wherein Nani plays the central character. According to the director, it’s been a while since audiences got to watch a full-fledged emotional drama.
The film is being readied for release in April 2021.
