Hero Karthi, who was last seen in the heart-warming rural drama Sathyam Sundaram, is all set to team up with director Tamizh, best known for the critically acclaimed Taanakkaran, for his 29th film. The project will be produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures, with Ishan Saksena on board as co-producer.
The makers unveiled the title Marshal today with a striking poster that features Karthi standing with folded hands against a dramatic seascape. Intriguingly, his face is not visible in the poster, sparking curiosity around his role. The film officially went on floors today with an auspicious pooja ceremony marking the start of regular shooting.
Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead in this high-budget venture, which also boasts a stellar supporting cast including Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Lal, John Kokken, Easwari Rao, and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles.
Marshal is being mounted on a grand scale with top-tier technical and production values. Renowned cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan will handle the camera, while music will be composed by the latest musical sensation Sai Abhyankar. Philomin Raj is on board as editor, and Arun Venjaramoodu serves as the production designer.
With an exciting collaboration and a powerful title reveal, Marshal promises to be a compelling addition to Karthi’s diverse filmography.
