In the BRS party’s strategy for the Telangana elections, the responsibility for road shows primarily falls on two prominent ministers, KTR and Harish Rao. In a recent meeting with CM KCR, it was clarified that both ministers are entrusted with conducting roadshows across all 119 constituencies.
While KCR himself will address public meetings, the roadshows are to be managed by KTR and Harish Rao. They are now working on the necessary roadmaps, as per KCR’s instructions. These two ministers have a busy schedule, aiming to schedule their roadshows with a two day gap following KCR’s public meetings.
This approach allows them to gauge the public sentiment and adapt their roadshows accordingly. Some roadshows are even planned independently of the public meetings and are set to commence on the 30th of the month. IT minister KTR will focus on South Telangana, particularly the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area, while Harish Rao will concentrate on the remaining districts in North Telangana.
Their primary objective is to counter opposition effectively during these roadshows, and both KTR and Harish Rao are known for their quick responses to allegations and criticisms. While roadmaps are being finalized for the ministers’ roadshows, a comprehensive plan is also being developed for KCR’s public meetings. Initially, public meetings are scheduled for 41 out of the total 119 constituencies, with the flexibility to modify the plan based on the public response. The first phase of public meetings is set to commence shortly, offering an opportunity to observe KCR’s campaign strategies and the public’s reactions closely.
