In a surprising turn of events, actress Rashmika Mandanna has decided to opt out of Nithin’s upcoming film directed by Venky Kudumula. The reason behind her decision is said to be her busy career schedule. According to a close source, Rashmika is already committed to projects like “Pushpa 2,” “Rainbow” (a Tamil-Telugu bilingual), and another Telugu film. Additionally, she has two Hindi projects in her hands. Juggling all these commitments made it challenging for her to adjust her dates for the Nithin film, leading to her withdrawal from the project.
It is worth noting that Rashmika had previously worked with Nithin and Venky Kudumula in the successful film “Bheeshma” released in 2020. The film would have achieved even greater success if not for the sudden impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The second collaboration between Rashmika Mandanna, Nithin, and Venky Kudumula, tentatively titled the “VNR trio,” was announced with much excitement in March of this year. The announcement video itself was highly entertaining and piqued the interest of the audience.
Following the news of Rashmika’s exit, there have been rumors of Sreeleela signing the film, although no official confirmation has been made. It is worth mentioning that Sreeleela is currently occupied with several other film projects.
Until a few years ago, Pooja Hegde was the leading heroine in Telugu cinema, followed by Rashmika. However, with Rashmika’s entry into the industry, hailing from Kannada, both Pooja, and Rashmika have faced tough competition from her. Sreeleela, who replaced Pooja Hegde in Mahesh Babu’s film “Guntur Karam,” is now stepping in to fill the void left by Rashmika’s departure.
