Kireeti Reddy, son of prominent politician and businessman Gali Janardhan Reddy, is making his debut with Junior, a vibrant youthful entertainer directed by Radha Krishna. Bankrolled by Rajani Korrapati under the banner of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, the film’s teaser was launched today.
The teaser offers a lively snapshot of the film’s tone, breezy, energetic, and highly entertaining. Kireeti is a relaxed college-goer who prefers chasing joy over chasing grades, a personality that both frustrates and fascinates the people around him. He starts flirting with Sreeleela who is ambitious, focused, and driven, setting the stage for an engaging clash of ideologies that slowly transforms into chemistry.
What stands out most is Kireeti himself. The teaser showcases his versatility- smooth dance moves, energetic stunts, effortless charm, and spot-on comic timing. It’s a well-rounded introduction to a newcomer. Sreeleela looked cool as the leading lady. Genelia D’Souza makes a strong impression with a bossy character that adds dramatic flair in the teaser’s final moments, while comedian Viva Harsha offers comic relief.
The cinematography of KK Senthil Kumar, known for elevating storytelling through grand visuals, is remarkable. Complementing the visuals is an electrifying score by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, whose music pulses with youthful energy and cinematic punch.
Junior also features technical brilliance across the board—Raveendar’s production design, Peter Hein’s high-octane action choreography, and sharp editing by Niranjan Devaramane. The dialogues, penned by Kalyan Chakravarthy Tripuraneni, are humorous.
With its multi-language release planned across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, and a nationwide theatrical premiere set for July 18, Junior looks to be a full-on entertainer.
