It is known that a case has been registered against famous director Ram Gopal Varma in Maddipadu PS of Prakasam district. But when he was supposed to attend the trial in this case.. Dumma hit him. In this context, the police once again issued a notice to Varma. The police have mentioned in the notices that they should attend the inquiry on 25th of this month.
Counterattack To RGV’s ‘Vyuham’
Earlier, Varma sent a message on WhatsApp to Ongolu Rural Circle Inspector Srikanth Babu saying that he could not come to the investigation as he was busy shooting the film. Varma said that he would cooperate with the investigation and asked the police for a week’s time. Maddipadu TDP Mandal General Secretary Ramalingam filed a complaint with the police for Ram Gopal Varma posting posts on social media to insult TDP leader, AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Lokesh and Nara Brahmani during the movie ‘Vyuham‘.
Did Ram Gopal Varma’s Plan Backfired?
To this extent, the police have registered a case against Varma. AP Police has given notice to Varma to attend the investigation in this case.. Varma is scheduled to appear in the court on Tuesday. But before that, Verma approached the AP High Court and filed a quash petition. However, the High Court heard Varma’s cash petition and dismissed the petition due to Varma’s comments. Also, the court made it clear to Varma’s lawyer that they cannot protect him from arrest. If there is any, it is suggested to file a bail petition.
