Rana is not your everyday actor. He selects films that are different and makes sure that he is part of films belonging to various genres. He has recently tied the knot and also started his own YouTube channel South Bay.
He has been part of an environment-friendly film Aranya. Now, he has extended his horizons. In a special episode for Discovery channel, Rana Daggubati has lived the life of a BSF jawan on the border. He also spent a day with a jawan and got to know of the hardships, discipline and commitment that the border security forces have for their motherland.

No date has been disclosed as yet for the series, but Rana says it will aired soon.
As for Aranya or Kaadan, the film is set for Sankranti release in 2021. The film will also release in Hindi as Haathi Mera Saathi. His last appearance in Bollywood was for Akshay Kumar’s film Housefull 4, in which he played a rather unusual role.
