Popular singer Adnan Sami recently criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. On Twitter for a tweet he made celebrating the Oscar win of the Telugu song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the movie ‘RRR.’
In his tweet, YS Jagan expressed his pride in seeing a Telugu song being recognized internationally and wrote, “The Telugu flag is flying higher!” However, Adnan Sami took issue with this, accusing the chief minister of promoting regionalism and creating division. He called YS Jagan a “regional-minded frog in a pond” who is unable to embrace national pride.
Adnan Sami is known for his popular Telugu songs such as ‘Ye Jilla,’ ‘Nachave Nizam Pori,’ and ‘O Madhu.’ However, his recent comments have stirred up controversy and drawn criticism from some quarters.
