Pawan Kalyan, the leader of the Jana Sena, recently attended the NDA summit in New Delhi when the BJP and 38 regional parties, including his own, forged an alliance. Prior to the meeting, Pawan discussed Andhra Pradesh politics and the approaching elections in an interview with renowned news organisation ANI.
For the next elections in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan stated that there was a good chance his party would form an alliance with the TDP and the BJP. However, he emphasized that the priority is to overthrow the ruling YSRCP, rather than focusing on the Chief Minister position.
“The main goal is to remove the YSRCP from power, and this fight should be a collective effort. The Chief Minister’s position is not a priority; it can be decided by the party or alliance with the highest number of seats. Personally, it is not important to me,” expressed Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan also highlighted the growing support his party is receiving from the public, stating that the people of Andhra Pradesh desire a change and see Jana Sena as a viable option. He criticized the YSRCP government for its alleged anti-public policies and accused the media of not providing accurate information to the public. Pawan further criticized the government for accumulating debts while neglecting to clear pending bills owed to contractors.
