Nagarjuna Boycotts His Favorite Holiday Destination

Nagarjuna has made a last-minute change to his holiday plans, opting for Lakshadweep over the Maldives to spend quality time with his family. The decision to shift from the Maldives, originally scheduled for January 17th, comes as a result of Nagarjuna’s busy schedule, involving 75 days of continuous work for Big Boss and Naa Saami Ranga, leaving him with limited family time.

In a video shared with composer M M Keeravani, Nagarjuna revealed his participation in the ‘boycott Maldives’ campaign, expressing concerns over comments made by Maldives ministers against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized PM Modi’s global leadership and the respect he commands from a massive global population of 1.5 billion people.

Despite being a fan of the Maldives and its picturesque beaches, Nagarjuna decided to cancel his plans due to his discontent with the political climate. He strongly criticized the Maldives ministers’ comments against the Indian Prime Minister, stating that there would be consequences for such remarks.

On a positive note, Nagarjuna’s film, Naa Saami Ranga, released as a Sankranti special, is enjoying a tremendous response at the box office. This success adds to Nagarjuna’s professional achievements, aligning with his principled stance on matters close to his heart.
