Telangana’s IT Minister, K.T. Rama Rao, has shared a significant health update regarding his father, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). According to KTR, KCR has developed a secondary chest infection in addition to the viral fever he has been battling. This new bacterial infection could potentially prolong his recovery period.
CM KCR has maintained a low profile for the past three weeks due to his persistent viral fever. He avoided attending official functions and socialising with the public at this time. A team of doctors has offered medical attention at Pragati Bhavan.
On September 26, KTR took to Twitter to inform the public about CM KCR’s health condition, mentioning that his father had been suffering from viral fever for several days. He stated that a dedicated team of five doctors attended to him at Pragathi Bhavan, where KCR had been experiencing fever and cough for a week.
The news of Chief Minister KCR’s illness has raised concerns among BRS leaders, activists, and supporters. They are offering prayers for his swift recovery, hoping that he will soon resume his active participation in government and party activities, especially with the approaching assembly election notification. Minister KTR expressed optimism, stating that the medical team has assured a full recovery for KCR in due course.
