Some movies become blockbusters not just because of the story, but also because of the actors who impressed with their acting abilities. But, sometimes it turns out that the actor who won the praise and accolades was not the first choice of the director.
While the movies rejected by some heroes and grabbed by other heroes became their career turning points. Arya movie was initially offered to Nithin, Prabhas, and Ravi Teja but they rejected it and it became the turning point for Allu Arjun’s career.
On the other hand, there are some movies that were initially rejected by some heroes and someone else has grabbed them and paid for them. NTR rejected Naa Peru Surya movie, and though Allu Arjun accepted it, it ended as a dud.
Sukumar developed Pushpa story for Mahesh Babu and eventually, it went to Allu Arjun and brought him Pan India fame.
Nandmuri Kalyan Ram’s recent release Amigos was offered to Ravi Teja, Ram, and Gopichand. They rejected the movie and finally, Kalyan Ram grabbed the offer. Though the movie’s concept was interesting and unique, weak narration and screenplay made the movie a poor outing. The movie is receiving mixed reviews.
