This Sankranthi season sees a clash of five releases, with none showing signs of stepping back. Guntur Kaaram, Naa Saami Ranga, Saindhav ,Eagle, and HanuMan are all confirmed for the festive window. However, reports suggest that pressure is mounting on the HanuMan movie to reconsider its release.
Dil Raju, in a recent press meeting, disclosed his advice to all producers, urging them to avoid clashes if possible, specifically mentioning HanuMan. He mentioned advising Prashanth Varma regarding the release clash, leaving the decision in his hands.
Confirming these pressures, HanuMan’s director, Prashanth Varma, addressed the situation, acknowledging the heavy influences trying to push the movie out of the Sankranthi race. He affirmed HanuMan’s firm stance on not stepping back from its initially announced release date, being the first to declare its Sankranthi launch.
When questioned about the potential impact of competing against bigger releases, Prashanth Varma expressed confidence in HanuMan’s strength, likening it to a cycle going up against a car, implying its capability to make a mark.
Despite the pressure to change the release date, HanuMan has the backing of Mythri Movie Makers for its Nizam release. The outcome remains uncertain as the battle among the five movies for dominance unfolds.
