The final schedule for Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor’s new film, Jersey kick-started Chandigarh a couple of weeks ago. But the team has been facing unexpected disturbance due to the farmers’ protests in Haryana and Punjab on the central government.
Considering the panic situation, the unit has decided to shift the shooting location to Dehradun city in Uttarakhand. As per the Bollywood reports, the film’s principal cast including Shahid Kapoor, heroine Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur are participating in the film’s shooting which is expected to wrap up by this weekend.
Being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Jersey is an official remake of Telugu film of the same title. Noted producers Allu Aravind, Aman Gill and Dil Raju are bankrolling the film, jointly.
