Aryan Khan’s Drug Case: SIT Takes Over From NCB Mumbai

In a surprise move, a newly formed Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken over the Aryan Khan’s drug case along with 5 other cases from the Mumbai NCB. Thus the investigation officer Sameer Wankhade on whom allegations of extortion were leveled was removed from the case.

However SIT termed it as an administrative move. Narcotics Control Bureau’s DDG Sanjay Kumar Singh in Mumbai said “We’ve taken over a group of 6 cases. He (Sameer Wankhede) is the zonal director of Mumbai, we’ll definitely take his assistance in the investigation,”. The six cases include the case of Aryan Khan, actor Armaan Kohli’s arrest case, Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik’s son in-law, Sameer Khan’s case, and three other drug cases.

In the meanwhile , an eyewitness Vijay Pagare said “”I have reasons to believe that the raid was preplanned and Aryan Khan was framed in the drug case. The entire strategy was finalised on September 27, while the cruise ship was raided on October 2,”
